Solid Colour background option for slides and template BG preview

Would people like to see a solid colour option for a background - so you don't need to upload an image background.

AND

When you are creating template slides, could we see a preview of the background.
Right now if I create dark text for a light background slide, I can't see the text, unless I switch the interface to Transparent mode.
