September 26, 2024
Is there an option to use the presenter remote functions on a PC? the other option is to use blue stacks, but I would prefer an "official program"

There is no need for a Presenter remote function - it is already available through Windows. We have been using a Logitech R400 for several years with no problems. There are no drivers to install; you just plug in the USB receiver and you are up and running. Our Pc is at the back of the Sanctuary, roughly 10m from where the speaker stands.
No doubt other responders will tell you about their experience with other remote controls.

I think what is being asked is if the same functionality as the PresenterRemote app can be done on a PC. I have the same question. We have Presenter running on our streaming computer and I would like to have someone else control the slides while the streaming person does his job. Is that possible outside of running Blue Stacks and installing an app? Or even greater control like being able to adjust slides remotely.

The Remote app for controlling the presentation slides is only available on mobile devices. You may also use a Bluetooth clicker to control slides.

If you have the Pro Plus plan, you can use a second computer to make changes to the presentation in realtime. As long as both computers are connected to a reliable network, the edits will appear on the first computer (the one that is connected to your audience outputs) as they are being made on the second computer.

I have the same question. We have a couple of laptops laying around and would like to use one of them to control Presenter. We have Presenter running on Desktop with some other tasks, we need to use on there and the Laptop isnt Powerful enough and doesnt have enough Videooutputs. It would be great if there is basically the Presenter Remote Software for PC. It could also be just a webserver running on the local Machine running Presenter.
