Skip sending an invite (and automatically accept) when current user is allocated

In the People section of a service, I added myself to fill one of the roles. I notice it still says "Invite not sent" with a link to send it. Why is that needed? I'm hardly likely to decline my own invitation; if I wasn't going to do the job, I wouldn't have allocated myself in the first place... It seems to me this step could be skipped, and automatically set as Accepted anywhere the current logged on user is added?

Seems obvious...

We left it that way as we found that some worship leaders like to play around with placement before they finalize schedules, including their own. You can skip the invitation by clicking on your (or anyone's) profile image, which should have a grey circle around it with a "?," and change it to "Accept" or "Decline."
