Apple TV + External display. Request Portrait orientation

In music Stand, when I wirelessly connect my ipad to an Apple TV with a monitor attached I can only see the content in landscape mode. Can we have portrait mode for external displays? At the moment it loses so much screen real estate as landscape only.
