Advancing PowerPoint Slideshow

Hi, we're very new to WT, so could just be user error.

With a presentation (which has transitions, animations and inbedded audio) is loaded, those items do not display/run, as other users have described before. We've therefore chosen to use the option to open in MS PowerPoint to maintain this functionality. This appears problematic, however.

I can only display this PowerPoint if I click the app logo in the taskbar. Without doing this, only the normal Presenter mode clicks through (not displaying).

When I use the remote control on my phone, the externally opened PowerPoint doesn't respond to it, again, only moving the Presenter mode slideshow along.

Any thoughts?
