That's a really difficult situation. No, Presenter does not have the ability to put a service on a memory stick and take it to a different computer. The computer that you use to present the service has to use the Internet to receive the service, unless you created the service on that computer.

Do you have a way to set up a hotspot long enough to download the service? Once downloaded, you don't need the Internet to present a service. Or, if the computer is portable, take it where it has Internet access long enough to download the service. Otherwise you'll have to create the service on the church PC.

Creating the service on the church PC does not answer the problem as we usually need to download songs from Songselect and other items from the web. Could the use of a thumb drive be developed?

For that you'll have to talk to someone with Worship Tools. I'm just another user reporting on how the software currently works. I'd like to see them add the ability to use a flash drive to copy services from one computer to another, but that would be a lot of work for them. In the similar post that I saw several months ago, the Worship Tools representative thought that the online transfer of information was good enough. You can request new features at https://www.worshiptools.com/help/requests?product=presenter. Surely this has already been requested, but I'm not finding it.

Here's a similar post with an answer from Worship Tools; there are others in your situation. Seems like the recommended action is to use a hot spot.

3 of us had tried setting up a hotspot with our iPhones with no success. It’s possible our small town’s 4G is insufficiently strong although I have used my hotspot successfully for other indications.

That's too bad. I'm also in a small town (under 2,000 people). My church has decent Internet, so we've never had to use a hotspot. And our projection computer is a laptop, so it's easy to take it somewhere else should the Internet have problems. Hmm, I wonder if you could borrow a laptop to use until your Internet is fixed? It would have to meet the minimum system requirements, but those are not very hard to meet. https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/docs/4-presenter-system-requirements It might be worth trying.

I've thought of another method that might be worth trying. While you can't save a Presenter service on a flash drive, you can save the components that need to be downloaded.

For songs, go to Song Select on your home computer and copy the lyrics for any new songs to a text file, then put that text file on a flash drive. In Song Select, clicking on the copy icon near the lyrics will give you everything you need to manually create the song on the church PC. To manually create a song in Presenter, open Songs, then click "Create new" in the top right and copy and paste the info from the text file. See https://www.worshiptools.com/help/thread/6322431459328000

For the other items, just download them on your home computer and put them on the same flash drive, then copy them to the church PC. You do need to actually copy them to the PC and not try to use them from the flash drive.

This is more work than creating the service on a computer with Internet access, but you should end up with a usable service on the church PC without needing the Internet.

Thanks so much for all your help. Fortunately WiFi now restored. We will do much better if a similar problem arises.
