Creating a Login

Just getting started with WorshipTools? Great! We're happy to have you!

First, you'll need a user login and a church account. The user login represents you as an individual, whereas the account represents the church and holds all of the church's services, songs, users, and other data. Users can be linked to one or more accounts at the same time, or can easily be linked and unlinked to different WorshipTools accounts depending on where they are serving at a given time. Please read this article for more information: WorshipTools Organizations, Accounts, and Users

Before you start creating a login and account, find out if your church already has an account with WorshipTools. WorshipTools accounts are, more often than not, managed by church pastors and/or worship leaders, so that might be a good place to start asking. If the church does have an existing account, ask them to add you to the account. When they add you, you will receive an email with instructions to create a password for your new login.

If your church does not have an account, you can go ahead and create one. Start by creating your own login with your personal details first. Screen Shot 2023-04-12 at 2.13.45 PM.png

When you first sign in, the website will ask you to verify your email address with a code. Look for the code in an email with the subject line: [WorshipTools]: Your verification code is ######. If you don't see it in your Inbox, check your Junk or Spam folder.

After verification, you will end up on the Account page. At the top, it will say, "Hello, [your name]!" followed by "You don't have access to any WorshipTools accounts. To join an existing ministry account, have an admin invite you, or create a new account." Since we've already established that your church doesn't have an account yet, you will click "create a new account" and set one up. Because you are the one creating this new account, you will automatically be the first Org Admin.

Now that the account is created, you can start building service presentations in Presenter, connect to CCLI's SongSelect® and start rehearsing with Charts, or add other users to your account in Planning. Make sure to look through the other Support Docs to help you get started.
