Account and Setup

Getting Started

Welcome to WorshipTools! WorshipTools offers four powerful apps – Presenter, Planning, Charts, and Community – designed to help churches create church presentations, manage worship services, and connect with their community.

To get started, you'll first need to determine whether you're setting up a new WorshipTools account for your church/ministry (henceforth referred to as "church") or joining an existing account. Follow the instructions below for your specific situation.

Note: If your user login is not linked to an account, you won’t be able to access any of the WorshipTools apps. For more details on how Accounts and Users work, check out this article.

Option 1: Setting Up a New Account

If your church does not have a WorshipTools account yet, you'll need to create both a user login for yourself and an account for your church.

1. Create Your User Login

Start by creating a user login for yourself. Visit this link to set up your login. We recommend using your personal credentials for this, as your login can be linked to multiple WorshipTools accounts over time.

2. Create the Church Account

Once your user login is created, you’ll see a screen that says, "You don’t have access to any WorshipTools teams. To join an existing team, have an admin invite you, or create a new team."

After you have created your user login, you'll see a screen that says "You don't have access to any WorshipTools teams. To join an existing team, have an admin invite you, or create a new team."

Click create a new team and enter your church’s name. We suggest using your church's official name for the account, but you can always change it later. After entering the name, click Create to establish the new account.

*Note: The person who creates the account becomes the first Org Admin—the user with the highest level of control over the account. Additional Org Admins can be added later if needed, and the role can also be transferred to others.

3. Start Using WorshipTools

Once the account is created, you're ready to log in and start setting up your services using the WorshipTools apps.

For instructions on how to add users to the account, visit this article and for more information about User Permission Levels, click here.

Option 2: Joining an Existing WorshipTools Account

If your church already uses WorshipTools and you need to access the apps, your team leader is likely an account Admin and will be able to send you an invitation to join WorshipTools.

1. Receive the Invitation The account Admin will go into the Planning app and register you as a member of the team. Once they submit your information, Planning will send an email invitation to the email address provided by the Admin. This email address will be your login email moving forward.

2. Accept the Invitation Once you receive the invitation, open the email and click the Join [Account Name] link. If you’re a new user, you’ll then be prompted to create a password. If you already have a WorshipTools login, simply log in using your existing credentials.

3. Start Using WorshipTools Once you’re logged in, you can start using the WorshipTools apps! Keep in mind that your user permission level—assigned by your Admin—will determine what apps and features you can access. If you need additional access, please reach out to your Admin.

Troubleshooting:

If you don’t see the invitation email, be sure to check your Junk or Spam folder. If you still can’t find it, contact [email protected] with both your WorshipTools login email and your team leader’s WorshipTools login email.
