Community
WorshipTools Community allows church leaders to send out mass emails and text messages to their church attendees. To learn more about email communications, please see this article.
Setup
To set your account up for SMS communications, head to Settings in the Community app. Click Set up text messaging and fill out the form on the following page. Your application will take up to 3 weeks to be processed and approved. Once approved, you will be able to purchase credits and begin sending mass texts.

This feature is currently only available for US organizations and phone numbers. Must be a Pro Plus subscriber. SMS fees are in addition to existing plan costs. Setup fee is nonrefundable.
Sending Messages
Once your account is approved for texting, you will be able to send mass texts from the Communications page in Community. To create your message, click + Communication. In the "Settings" box on the right, fill out a name for your campaign and then select Email and/or SMS, depending on what kind of communication you would like to send. Then, build your message on the left. If you select both Email and SMS, you will see separate fields to create the respective messages. Lastly, finalize your recipients and send out your communications.
You must have permission from the recipients to send them text communications. There is an "opt-in" checkbox on each person's profile to acknowledge that you have received permission.
Texts from Community are a one-way communication tool for announcements and other important information you may need to share with your church. Recipients will have the option to opt out of texts by sending "STOP" to your provided phone number. If they unsubscribe, you will not be able to resubscribe them. However, the recipient can resubscribe by texting "START" to the same number. If a new contact texts "START" to your provided number, their phone number will automatically be added to your Community database.
