The Song Library in the WorshipTools Charts app allows you to easily access all the songs in your account, without having to add them to individual services. As long as you have Viewer permissions or higher, you can browse the entire library, view charts, make annotations, and more.
To access the library:
- Open Charts and go to the dashboard screen (if you're not already there)
- Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the page
- Select Song Library from the dropdown menu
Once you're in the Song Library, you can scroll through the list of songs. Click on any song to view its available materials, such as charts, lyrics, and PDFs. If your account is integrated with SongSelect® or Loop Community, you may also be able to search for and pull songs directly from their libraries, depending on your permission level.
Adding Songs to the Library
To add songs to the library manually:
- Click Create New in the upper right corner of the Song Library
- Fill out the Song Title and Artist fields
- Set a Default Key for the song
- Add ChordPro® for the song (optional but highly recommended*)
- Click Save
*ChordPro allows for dynamic chord charts that can be transposed and quickly modified. To learn more about ChordPro, please see this article: What is ChordPro?
Once saved, you'll be taken back to the dashboard screen. Reopen the Song Library to find your new song.
Adding Song Attachments
If you added ChordPro in the previous step, your chord chart will automatically appear when you open the song from the library.
If you did not add ChordPro for your song, you’ll see a message saying "No song attachments available." To add attachments:
- Click the blue Add PDF or ChordPro button to get to the Source page
- From the Source page, click Add in the upper-right corner and select either ChordPro, PDF, or Praise Charts depending on what type of source you'd like to add
- If you selected ChordPro, type in your ChordPro and save. If you selected PDF, upload the appropriate PDFs from your local device. If you selected PraiseCharts, you can find and import songs you've already purchased or go and purchase new ones for use in the Charts app.
Adding Songs Through Planning
